Siem Reap Trip

So I returned to Siem Reap after nine years away on a mission trip, and it was an interesting trip.

One of the worst core memories I have from when I came back from Cambodia to Singapore was the fact that I had to learn how to use deodorant, as I wasn't used to it in Cambodia, as Cambodia was less humid than Singapore. Thankfully, I had an understanding classmate who, although she didn't like boys, was relatively patient.

Like I said last year, you can get most food available in Cambodia. Avoid the KFC, though; it is a bit pricey, and the standards are not very good.

You can find Christian books in Cambodia now. One of my ex-classmates and good friends is a translator whose job is to translate Christian books into Khmer. They can be purchased at cost, or arrangements can be made for certain organisations. They are even available online as e-books for free. One of my ex-mentors has also made his organisation's curriculum available for mass purchase.
